We welcome parents, carers and students to volunteer at Holy Trinity Primary School to support our children. Volunteering at school is a rewarding experience and benefits the whole school community.
People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons.
- For some it offers opportunities to give something back to the community.
- For others it may provide an opportunity to develop new skills.
- For the vast majority it is a requirement of a course.
The work carried out by volunteers could come in the form of helping in the classroom, during an after school club, at a fundraising event or during an educational visit as we are always looking for volunteers who would be interested in accompanying classes on day trips.
At Holy Trinity we offer a wide range of exciting trips - the Royal Opera House, the Science Museum, Southwark Playhouse and the seaside to name a few. Your help and support would be much appreciated as well providing an opportunity for work experience to lead to a future possible career in education.
Classroom assistant volunteers may help with any of the following:
- Supporting the teacher to prepare for lessons
- Listening to children read
- Telling the children stories or reading to them
- Supporting individual pupils
- Supporting groups of children in all curriculum areas
For the safety of all children, volunteer helpers will be subject to a DBS check.

- Volunteer Application Form
